    Dear Mr Rowe-Jones,

I never really had the chance to thank you properly for what you did for me as your patient.

When I can to you my nose was in an awful state, you have done such an amazing job. It looks so natural it’s hard to believe it was broken in the first place. Its straight, I have a bridge, I can breathe properly through it and am no longer scared of having my picture taken as it was a massive issue for me due to the way it made me look. 90% of pictures enhanced my nose damage 5% showed it how it is and 5% kind of made it not as bad as it was..so when people got cameras out I was off!!

We all go to work and feel we do a good job in what we do, we go on strike when we don’t get the pay deal we want, then there are people like you who perform miracles on a daily basis. I never hear of doctors complaining about pay. Whatever salary you receive is not enough, no way enough!!..I am so, so grateful to you and your team. You have probably helped 1,000s of patients in your career, well I can tell you that I am the most grateful to you.

I had an awful time with previous surgery and suffered a long time and put up with the way it was for 16 years. Within 3 months of coming to see you, you had worked your miracle on me. When my cast came off it was a very emotional time for me.

My recovery was very easy I had no problems at all. My ears hurt more than my nose which goes to show the original state of my nose by how much my ears had to suffer. I could not believe how neat all the stitches etc were…totally amazing…

I have a lot to thank you for as my nose being ‘transformed’ has given me self confidence, my nose used to be the first thing I though about and the last as I would be lying in bed unable to breathe through one side. I was very, very depressed about it but refused anti depressant medication as I don’t like taking drugs. Now when I wake up, I breathe in through my nose and smile…a lot!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!

One thing that the surgeon said to me at Wrexham Park is I am referring you to a very good friend of mine Mr Rowe-Jones. If he can’t help you then you’re stuck with what you have as it is far too difficult to perform. He was right, I am also very thankful to him for putting me in your hands as I would have had to live with the way my nose was. I cannot stress how gratful I am to you I wanted to thank you personally. You may feel you were only doing your job but you go beyond that. You have a wonderful team assisting you and are a total credit to your practice.

I am deeply, deeply grateful to you and will never forget what you did for me.

    Kindest Regards

I am writing to convey a huge thank you for the procedure to correct my nose. I personally thought that I would never have a normal look again, but you have made it possible with shear dedication and highly talented surgical skills producing an outstanding result.
Confidence is coming along in leaps and bounds, even though I have ten years to catch up on, I can now put all this behind me and pick up where I left off.

    Hi Emma and Julian
It is now three weeks since the surgery and I have to say: it’s a work or art. I am SO incredibly impressed by how good it already looks. Those who know I had it done all feel the same way. Those who don’t know I had it done don’t notice it. Great!
My recovery went super quick, at day 7 there were already no signs that I had any surgery done. Of course, I felt it but it did not show. The swelling is going down very evenly. Read that it takes a while for the swelling over the bridge to become soft and go away. But that is fine.
Well just wanted to say thanks again!

  4. Dear Mr Rowe-Jones
I wanted to say a huge thank you for the work you did on my nose. I don’t think it was one of your easiest missions which makes the outcome all the more amazing!
I asked for a straight nose with no bump and to be able to breathe through both nostrils but I never thought I would get all three so brilliantly – it really exceeded my expectations. It has made a big difference to my confidence and is no longer a concern for me. Can I also thank all your staff – Emma and Alex were fantastic and could not do enough to help and made the whole process very easy – you all make a great team.
Thank you once again for your excellent work

  6. JRJ and Rhinoplasty from a Scrub nurse’s point of view.

It has been a privilege for me to have worked with and observed JRJ for the past 8 years. During that time he has shown both the dedication and perfection that he demands of himself during the procedure , furthermore, it his skill and attention to detail that has resulted in his being recognised as a leader in the highest echelon of his profession.

    Dear Mr Rowe-Jones

I just wanted to thank you and let you know how much I love my new nose! I got married at the end of april and it felt wonderful to not think about my nose for one second – I felt amazing. I have had so many positive comments about how I look and what is fantastic is that people do not immediately say I have done something to my nose. They may say that I have lost weight or changed my hair. It has given me such a confidence boost and made me very happy indeed.

You did such a brilliant job.

  9. I highly recommend Mr. Julian Rowe-Jones and esteem the quality of his work. In my opinion, he is likely the premier Rhinoplasty Surgeon in Europe. His continuous drive to further understand and improve on results, meticulous planning before surgery, detailed post op analysis to learn any lessons, commitment to teaching and research makes his a hard act to follow. I chose as a Fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery to train under him and am grateful for the insight, inspiration, techniques and friendship I now hold dear.

    Dear Mr Rowe-Jones

I am very happy with my nose, it feels perfect and everyone thinks you are a genius!

I have recently come back from the Bahamas, wore my cap to avoid the sun, and breathed in sea water which I hear is healing!!

I feel that you have achieved my ultimate goal; I have never had such a ‘perfectly’ straight nose in all my life! I hope to keep in touch.

    Best Wishes

  13. As a scrub nurse, with many years experience in ENT, the most rewarding procedure is that of a rhinoplasty performed by Mr Rowe-Jones. His dedication, skill and attention to detail are refected in the results he achieves. This I have wittnessed many times, but never ceases to amaze me. Its a privilage to be able to continue to work with him, and be a part of a dedicated team, with such a high standard of cosmetic surgery, which I know is recognised world wide.

  14. Dear Julian

I just wanted to write a note to say how grateful I am for the work you have done on my nose. When I first came to surgery I immediately felt welcomed and most importantly comfortable and I knew I was in very good hands. My goals in having the surgery were to be able to breathe through my nose normally and to finally have a nose I wasn’t embarrassed of and I came out with both. I couldn’t be happier with the new shape and size of my nose and have now gained the title within my group of friends of having ‘the perfect nose’, which is quite a compliment to say the least!

Thank-you Julian and Emma and all the staff at The Nose Clinic, for you’re friendly and kind service.

I had a twisted septum since I was at school the result of a nasty incident on a school bus which fractured my nose. Over the years I have had 4 operations to correct my septum which resulted in my septum ‘slipping’ out of position which left me with breathing problems and a crooked nose.

The final blow to my nose was an accident when a dog collided with my nose and subsequently my nose started to subside. My surgeon at the time referred me to Julian Rowe-Jones, a surgeon he admired fully as this was to be the last surgery as my nose could perforate.

Mr Rowe-Jones performed a 51/2 hour open surgery in August 2010 rebulding my septum from cartilage behind my ears and around my cranium. It was a success and finally straight. Unfortunately 5 days after surgery my ‘Wolf’ dog butted my nose very hard but surprisingly it upheld the knock but months later there was a lump apparent on the bridge. In August 2011 I had surgery to remove (shave) the lump and I am delighted with the final result. At last I have the ‘perfect’ pretty nose I had never had, Mr Rowe-Jones has changed my life!

I will always keep in touch with Mr Rowe-Jones as he is such a wonderful caring man, he makes his patients feel so at ease, very kind and I will highly recommend him to everyone as h is the top of his field, a perfectionist, a skilled sculptor and a life changer!

Thank you so much A x

I’m now just 1 week post surgery and my new nose was revealed today and it is everything that I wanted. Dr Rowe-Jones was the first and only rhinoplasty consultant that I saw after researching leading rhinoplasty surgeons online. I’m so glad that I chose him.

He has a lovely staff who made me feel welcome and able to ask any questions. As soon as I met Dr Rowe-Jones at my consultation I felt completely comfortable that he had my interests at heart and was a genuinely nice and warm person. Dr Rowe-Jones took great care to listen to me as I explained what I didn’t like about my nose and gave his expert opinion on what could be done. I wanted a reduced hump and bridge and tip refinement. The result is amazing and still looks like me.

I am so happy that I took the plunge and did it in the care of such a professional and caring clinic. Emma, Debbie, Alex – thank you all so much for looking after me! Take care,

Recently I scrubbed for a septorhinoplasty with Mr Rowe-Jones, which was challenging and complex due to the extent of the nasal deformity. The result, some three hours later was a normal looking nose. Once again the expertise, skill and attention to detail Mr Rowe-Jones demonstrated, made it a pleasure to be part of the team.

Having deliberated a long time whether or not to correct the bump on my nose (hereditary/small brake) I was of course very nervous when I decided Rhinoplasty was the right step to take and am so glad I came to the nose clinic to have the surgery. Everyone at the clinic was incredibly friendly, professional and put me at ease and post surgery a year on, I am a much more confident self.

    Thank you

Considering any kind of surgery whether it be for cosmetic or medical reasons can be most daunting. My experience of Mr Rowe-Jones and his team at The Nose Clinic has been exemplary. Each step of the process was illustrated to me in a clear and concise manner and most importantly I was able to perceive a realistic expectation to my operation. The support offered throughout the process was excellent and in my particular case, I was shown a great deal of flexibility and understanding when making arrangements for surgery. Mr Rowe-jones’ manner enables you as the patient to have complete confidence throughout the process and the aftercare offered by his team was most supportive and caring. The end result was a most pleasing outcome which actually surpassed my expectations and it would be my pleasure to reccomend Julian Rowe-Jones and his team at The Nose Clinic.

  20. I had revision rhinoplasty at the Nose Clinc in November 2011. I had had 7 to 8 operations on my nose beforehand which never gave me the result I hoped to achieve. I was not looking for perfection but wanted a good shape to my nose and to be comfortable with it in my day to day life.

The first time I visited the clinic, I was advised against having the surgery as Mr Rowe-Jones did not think he could achieve what I was looking for. I thought carefully about what he said and asked if I could see him again a year later. Mr Rowe-Jones and Emma wer very happy to see me and explained again what could be achieved. I was happy that I understood what they had said and was grateful they had not advised surgery when I understood things less well. The plan for the surgery involved using rib cartilage to give my nose the shape I desired. This was extensive surgery but despite knowing the risks and limitations of the surgery, I decided to go ahead.

The surgery went well and I returned a week later to have the dressings and stitches removed. My nose was not painful but where the cartilage was taken from my rib remained sore for a few weeks. Despite having 4 to 5 hours of surgery I was surprised that my nose was less swollen than I thought it would be and I was delighted with the results. My nose had the projection that I wanted from the start. This was very different from the rhinoplasties that I had had before when I could tell that the surgeons had not achieved my desired result.

I am so pleased that I had this rhinoplasty and am very pleased with the result. I am now comfortable with my nose and will not be requiring more surgery.

I am delighted that honest and professional people like Julian & Emma Rowe-Jones exist and feel privileged that I was able to meet them and that they achieved exactly what I have wanted.

  21. I had corrective Surgery with Mr Julian Rowe-Jones 18 months ago. There was alot involved as the previous nose job i had had gone wrong, over the years it had collapsed on one side so Julian had his work cut out rebuilding my nose. He was very realistic with me in regards to what was possible and my expectations. I had cartlidge taking from my ear to rebuild the side that had collasped and for a while I was very swollen and it was concerning me, to which Julian reassured me this would go down in time, it was due to the extensive work that had been done. I had my second review a few weeks ago and looking at the results from pictures was quite amazing. The swelling has completely gone and I have a very well proportioned nose. I would reccommend Julian to anyone thinking of having rhinoplasty, he is a genius at what he does. He and his team are very comforting and rest assured you will be in safe hands. Thank you all for looking after me so well and giving me a nose i’m happy with.
